The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round contest which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the combatants met personally to promote next month's boxing match.
Former twice unified heavyweight champion Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami venue on December 19th.
Fighter's Attitude
"I will break his face and damage his physique. I'm here to prove I'm superior," Joshua, 35, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will really want to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Civil Interaction
Despite such comments, a composed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually known for his showmanship - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul instead attacked former Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "a joke" after the Cameroonian declined a match opportunity.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, targeted UK opponent Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua stated.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of stating he plans to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He lost to Briton Fury in last year.
Financial Success
Still, the relative newcomer remains one of the sport's greatest money-making draws, consistently making huge earnings.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a KO victory in rounds four or five and stated he would prevent the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently being planned for 2026.
"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
Physical Difference
As the two fighters met for the usual face-off, with their physical disparity on show, it highlighted just how unlikely this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the match is actually happening.
